About Ron


Early in 2001, Ron Adelman was fed up. After 20 years in the Food industry he was tired. Although he had been successful setting up restaurants for a large national company, Ron was looking for another way to lead his life. He decided that he no longer wished to have the headaches of a large organization and it's numerous employees. It was time to leave behind the world of rent payments, equipment needs and inventory control. It was time for him to take control of his own life and take charge of his own destiny.

Ron decided to become an Internet Consultant with WSI. He was looking for a place where he could follow a system that would allow him to earn a good living but that didn't come with all the headaches. Starting a new business is never easy, even when it is a franchise, and this was no different. Through hard work and tenacity Ron persistently and inevitably began to build his business.

Knowledge sometimes comes when we least expect. After two years of hard work the business was growing but not at the pace Ron had hoped. He was frustrated when he lost a bid for a project he felt that he deserved. He was upset when he learned that the bid winner was a company that was helping companies with a new marketing program called Pay for Placement.

Down but not out after losing the bid, Ron found himself sitting beside a regular at his weekly BNI meeting. She too was complaining about the lack of business and was looking for an answer. Ron explained that he was working on a new marketing program called Pay-per-Click and would be prepared to work with her if she would serve as his guinea pig. His new friend was an affiliate of a large International marketing company. Ron was ecstatic to find that the company had received over 20,000 searches in the previous month and that no one was bidding on the name. Asking for $50 to get started, Ron bought the name and several other key words for .10 each.

Within the hour, the client called wanting to know what was going on. She explained that the phone was ringing off the hook and that orders were starting to pour in. The company inevitably asked her to cease the use of the name, but during that short time she set sales records and the seeds of success for Ron had become firmly entrenched.
